Okay, now I’ve seen everything. I thought that every single idea for a Monopoly game had been done. Apparently I was wrong. It pains me to admit that this kind of sounds interesting though. Instead of buying blocks you buy zombies, flesh and screaming humans. Could be a fun game to try, but probably not as good as the original. I have only come across one ripoff game that was better than the original and that’s The Pirates of the Caribbean version of Life. So much more fun than the original. Can be a little expensive when you find it since I’m not sure if they make it anymore, but if you do come across it I highly recommend it. If you want to try out Zombie-Opoly, however, you can get it here.
How fun is this? Ouija Board placemats! So every time you sit down to a meal you can talk to the spirit world and ask important questions like: Will I like this meal? Will I get heartburn that wakes me up in the middle of the night? Will I get gassy that night and wake up my partner with horrible fumes while I slumber in unknowing bliss? All very important questions that can be answered before you take your first bite. How could this not be necessary? Plus they are extremely cute. Buy yours here.
My whole family is obsessed with Yahtzee and we play it almost every day, but no matter how much I like all things scary I just find this version weird. I guess it would be cool to have it on your shelf, but I’m not sure that you could get as much fun out of it. Who knows, though? Maybe I’d love it. It is pretty cute. Get yours here.
I love my iPhone, I really do, but I’m not the ideal user. I rarely download apps. Scary Hubby will tell me about something that I just have to have and usually I download it and then get bored with it. I will admit that I have a healthy obsession with Solitaire, especially Pyramid Solitaire. I do use those apps quite frequently. A while back Scary Hubby emailed me a link for yet another app. This sat in my inbox for the last month not getting touched. I finally opened it up this afternoon to see what it was. Big mistake. I can’t stop playing this game! It’s called Grimm: Ride of the Perambulator and it’s incredibly addictive. Basically you play a lost baby in a carriage and you have to maneuver it through darkly gothic victorian worlds where Mr. Grimm and other scary men are trying to stop you and kill you. It’s kind of like Super Mario, but with a baby in a gothic world. The graphics are just gorgeous. Think Tim Burton with a dash of Gorey. I wish they made it for the iPad, because I would love to see that artwork on a larger scale. You can download it here. It’ll cost you $0.99, but it’s worth it. Just make sure you read the device requirements and that yours is completely up to date.
