Creepy Clowns Roaming California

Filexd under: Misc.,News/Articles,Outdoors,TV/Movies,Weird Stuff — Tags: , , , , , , , , — jane @

If you’re like me and don’t like clowns then just steer clear of Southern California. Clowns have been appearing at night since October 1st in a town called Wasco, but now they are being spotted in some neighboring towns. There was also a clown spotted for awhile in a town in England last year which I wrote about here. After seeing the clown in American Horror Story last Wednesday I have no desire to ever run into one again. Read the story here.

Skulls, Skulls, Skulls

Okay, so if you are as crazy as I think you are about skulls you desperately need to check out the Stephen Einhorn store online here. They have almost anything your heart desires in the shape of a skull made out of metal. Gorgeous, but pricey.

Pleather Lace Up Leggings

Filexd under: Apparel,Fashion,Misc. — Tags: , , , , , , , , — jane @

These are the coolest leggings I have ever seen! I don’t generally love leggings, but these I am head over heels in love with. Where do they come from? England, of course, where else? And they ship to the US for only $10! Love, love, love these and have already ordered my pair. Even better they are made of imitation leather, so no cuties were hurt making them. These are on my “Must List”. I never really had a “Must List” before, but I do now. Do you get the feeling that I kind of like these? Buy your pair here.

Gothic Engagement Ring

Anyone who reads this blog or for that matter just looks at it can guess what my favorite colors are. Dk. Blue and Black have always been my favorite. That’s why my black hair rocks a blue streak on the blog and in real life. It’s my thing. Along with painting my fingernails black and my pinky fingernails blue. A good portion of the world finds me rather odd and abrasive. ¬†I do my own thing and as long as I’m not hurting anyone who cares? That being said there is the odd thing that’s pretty mainstream that I get excited about. I am slightly embarrassed to admit that I watched every moment of the recent royal wedding. Royalty just fascinates me and always has. I think it’s because back in the day my great uncle was the King of Denmark’s personal valet. My Mom grew up playing with the current Queen of Denmark and used to tell all sorts of cool stories. Sadly my Mom did not stay in touch with her, but she followed her life closely and in turn followed all royalty. When Prince William proposed to Kate with Princess Diana’s sapphire ring I was so excited. Not only because sapphires are my favorite stone, but because it was not the boring and expected diamond solitaire the size of a small country. In some ways I would love to have that ring, but it’s not really me. I came across this Gothic Sapphire Crystal Ring though, that would suit me just fine and would not be such a strain on the wallet at $89.95. It’s still my favorite color and surrounded by diamond-like¬†Swarovski crystals, but this one has an edge to it, a skull edge that surrounds the stones! I love it when things look normal until you look closely and see the evil.

Never Moon A Werewolf

Filexd under: Apparel,Travel — Tags: , , , , — jane @

Never Moon A Werewolf T-ShirtToday’s T-Shirt Tuesday are words to live by. This Never Moon A Werewolf t-shirt basically points out that mooning a werewolf would not be a good idea. I mean everyone knows that a full moon brings out the werewolf in an infected person. Now of course I realize that the legend refers to the actual moon in the sky, but who knows? Do you really want to chance that just for a gag? This reminds me of something that happened to us last year. We were in England and we actually had a guy moon us while we sat and ate dinner on a patio. Two days later it happened again while we were walking on the beach and a week later it actually happened again. Crazy, right? Maybe they thought one of us was a werewolf and they were trying to catch us. We might have been, but quite a chance to take, don’t you think? Later we found out from a friend who lives there that it’s quite common to get mooned in England. Especially on the coast during festivals which is where we were. Too bad I wasn’t wearing this t-shirt then. Maybe they would have thought twice before they did it and we, including my 7 year old daughter, wouldn’t have been subjected to some random guy’s hairy ass. Just a thought.
