Okay, I admit it. Now and then I take a walk on the normal side and check out Cuteoverload.com. It’s not something I’m proud of, but sometimes a ridiculously cute little bunny or kitty can put a smile on my face. I was in the middle of giving into this need when I was rewarded with something that’s a little more my style. I’ve made no secret of my love for all things Hitchcock, so when I came across this Peep remake of The Birds I was a very happy Scary Jane. I love the imagination of people. I personally hate peeps. I think they taste disgusting, but they sure make for some cool dioramas. This one was done by Jill Goebel of Alexandria, VA and was a semifinalist in the fourth annual Washington Post Peeps Diorama Contest.
So, I came across this Raven Lunatic t-shirt a while ago and kept putting off writing about it. Why, you ask? Well, for some reason I just don’t have anything to say about it. I really like it and love the reactions when I wear it, but for once I have nothing to write. I know, who’d a thought it was possible. Scary Hubby wonders sometimes if there is anything in this world that I don’t have a lot to say about. Well, here it is. For some reason it leaves me tongue tied and speechless. Obviously I could make some witty remark about Edgar Allan Poe, but that just makes me think of my cat Edgar and then that in turn makes me think of his sister Agatha and then I can’t get my brain to work. I thought it was the perfect one to post today since I don’t have anything to say about anything. My whole focus is on my sweet kitty Agatha at the moment who appears to have let us know that it is time. If you’ve been keeping up with my posts then you’ll know what that means. If you haven’t, well WTF?
A reader directed me to this Black Feather Chair and I just had to share it with you. It is so deliciously creepy. This was designed by Elyse Hochstadt back in 2007 and was featured at FIVEten Studio. The actual name of the chair is Portrait of George 1. I covet this chair and I must have it. I’m sure the $7500 price tag is a misprint, right? I’m sure they left out the period and it’s really $75. I’m going to get on a plane, march right on over to the studio in Oakland, California and slap down my $75! They better give it to me too, because clearly it was made with me in mind. Just think… a chair designed just for me. How lovely. Now if only I can scrape the money together for a plane ticket.
