Today’s T-Shirt Tuesday are words to live by. This Never Moon A Werewolf t-shirt basically points out that mooning a werewolf would not be a good idea. I mean everyone knows that a full moon brings out the werewolf in an infected person. Now of course I realize that the legend refers to the actual moon in the sky, but who knows? Do you really want to chance that just for a gag? This reminds me of something that happened to us last year. We were in England and we actually had a guy moon us while we sat and ate dinner on a patio. Two days later it happened again while we were walking on the beach and a week later it actually happened again. Crazy, right? Maybe they thought one of us was a werewolf and they were trying to catch us. We might have been, but quite a chance to take, don’t you think? Later we found out from a friend who lives there that it’s quite common to get mooned in England. Especially on the coast during festivals which is where we were. Too bad I wasn’t wearing this t-shirt then. Maybe they would have thought twice before they did it and we, including my 7 year old daughter, wouldn’t have been subjected to some random guy’s hairy ass. Just a thought.
I come from a long line of game lovers. I grew up playing games with my family and friends and still do. We host game nights with our friends and every Sunday afternoon is game time in our house. One that we play regularly is the award winning game Fluxx. It’s a fun card game that’s easy to play anywhere since there is no board or money involved. I recently found out that there is a Zombie Fluxx version. How cool is that? I can’t believe we’ve been playing all this time and never knew. I have yet to get it, but I’m very curious about it and how the zombie theme changes the game. I would try to explain the game to you, but the goal and the rules of the game changes all the time and it’s one of those games you just have to jump in and play. From what I can understand there are weapons to kill the zombies with and your friends can become zombies. If anyone out there has played it email me or comment on this post and let me know what you think and if it’s worth getting.
After I received so many emails on the last picture I posted I thought I’d try to post this one. I’ve had this picture for a while, but have no idea where it came from. I think it’s somewhere in Great Britain, but I could be wrong. I find this guy to be very creepy. Judging by the surroundings of the statue it looks like it’s in the middle of nowhere. I would jump thirty feet in the air if I was walking down a quiet lane and came upon this guy. I’d love to meet him. Anyone out there able to help me? I’ll post when I find out something.
Here is a picture of a scary statue that I found on the internet. I absolutely love this statue. The problem is I have no idea where this statue is or if it is even real. It looks real, but in the age of Photoshop who knows? I’d also like to know what it is actually a statue of. It looks like the Grim Reaper, but I can’t imagine anyone making a statue of him. I can’t make out what the plaque says. If anyone knows anything about this statue please email me or post a comment. I continue to search on the internet for it. I’ll post if I find out anything.
*Update: Ask the world of the internet and quickly get an answer. Gotta love it! This was designed by Anna Chromy, a sculpter & painter born in the Czech Republic. Her best-known piece is the empty coat, known as Coat of Conscience. There is one located in Austria, one in Praque, one in Athens and a few others. So much for for my scary ideas. Thanks Irie.
Vampires all want to go back to their roots and visit Dracula’s Castle, or should I say Bran Castle, in Transylvania, Romania. Nothing strange about that. Unfortunately, travel is not so easy for your run-of-the-mill vampire. We can’t all be rich and live in castles. Some of us have to eke out a living working nights at the local video store and living in an old mausoleum. In case you didn’t know, video store clerks don’t make that much. Anyway, I am here to help all of you lowly vampires who do not have the sort of life where you can travel and visit your homeland. Now you can take a 360 tour of Bran Castle on your computer. That is if you can even afford that.
