It’s finally Friday, it’s been a really long week and I need a drink or even a shot of something. Now if only I had some super cool glasses to drink it out of. Namely these Toxic Toons Shot Glasses. Unfortunately I do not own these glasses yet. My birthday is coming up guys. Come on you know you want to help Scary Jane have a really good birthday this year, right? If you really loved me you would have bought them for me already. I guess I’ll have to shell out the $49.99 my self. I just wish I’d thought of it a little earlier because now I will have to have my drink out of my plain old regular shot glasses. Mine aren’t etched with some creepy looking skull or monster on them like these. Come on guys, help a girl out. Don’t let another Friday go by where Scary Jane has to have a drink out of some plain old shot glass.

A few months ago I blogged about some Baby Hand Soap that was really quite creepy. You’d think that would be the end of it, but happily no. I found another deliciously creepy Hand Soap, but this time it’s a grown-up hand and hangs on the wall of your shower. It doesn’t exist yet, but we can hope. It was designed during a research project at Berlin University of the Arts with a German company called Design Reaktor Berlin. This is a company that helps small businesses organize production, marketing and get distribution for their products. I think this would be oh so cool in my shower, but placement would be of the utmost importance. Looking at the picture it appears to be rather low on the wall. Wouldn’t this cause embarrassing accidents while bending over to clean your lower extremities? Also, here’s something to think about. After you’ve used it for a while it’s not exactly going to look like a hand anymore. It will eventually become a little soap stump. How attractive would that be? Of course you’re accidents wouldn’t be as ticklish anymore. Don’t know if you consider that a good thing or not.

Make your Christmas a Skull Christmas with these Skull Utensils. Actually that would be a pretty expensive set to buy considering it’s $25 for one knife, one fork and one spoon! Plus they are just made of plastic! Who would buy that? They are totally cool and would look awesome on my table tomorrow, but not at that price. They also come in orange and white. Not sure why you would want them in orange. Well, I guess for Halloween. Anyway they are on sale for this price, so move quickly or someone might actually pony up the money for these.

In our new house I am not so happy with the lighting. We have slowly been replacing the lights as we find more funky and interesting ones. I have a large island in my kitchen where two very plain pendant lights hang over it. As I was looking around online I found the most perfect lighting ever! It is called a Sunset Pendant, though I have no idea why. Why not call it a Bat Pendant? I mean it does feature a very large bat on it! No reason to be logical I guess. You certainly wouldn’t want it to be easily found by the bat loving public such as myself would you? Anyway, they are so deliciously creepy that I went to click on ordering a pair and got the shock of my life! These amazingly cool light fixtures cost a whopping $1898.00 each! What the hell are they made of? I still covet them though. I wonder if I could talk Scary Hubby into spending that much. Probably not, but maybe just one for our entryway would do? Well, I’m off to grovel and beg…

Being a lover of all things alcohol I am always on the lookout for scary bar accessories to add to my collection. Here are some fantastic skull swizzle sticks that will fit right in. They were apparently released only for the Halloween season, but you can still buy them. This always pisses me off! Don’t they realize how many people out there love this kind of stuff? And not just at Halloween? Skulls are so popular now. You can buy practically anything with a skull on it at Kmart or Target nowadays. Not that I’m particularly thrilled about that, but that’s another story. It just always makes me mad when I find some cool thing on the internet and I can’t buy it because it’s not Halloween anymore. I spend so much money during Halloween on every day stuff for my house. When will they learn? Anyway, if you like these you might want to snap them up because it’s only while their supply lasts.

I found this little Hungry Alien online a while back and I had a great idea for him. That just cracked me up and made me want him even more. He is very similar to the Alien Gnome Bandits I covered a few months ago. Probably by the same artist, though it doesn’t say that. This guy is made from recycled nuts, bolts and cutlery. He would look great out in the garden or overlooking your barbecue, but I have a better plan. Don’t you get tired of those dumb little pilgrims your grandmother puts on the table every year at Thanksgiving? Or what about the 40 year old little turkey that Uncle Joe made out of Styrofoam and feathers when he was 4 years old? Why not replace all of that crap and put him right in the middle of your Thanksgiving dinner table? That would certainly wake everyone up and put some fun on your table. Although, you might have to sneak it onto the table when Grandma isn’t looking or she may put a kibosh on your devious plans.

As usual I am always looking out for ways to freak out neighbors. Of course it’s always fun to do it at Halloween, but that’s expected. I like to do it at different times and in unexpected ways. I found these severed fingers and immediately started thinking about Halloween. Moments later my brain started going beyond Halloween and came up with some great ideas. I love to decorate for Christmas. I know, sounds strange right? Actually not strange if you think of all of the fun things you can scatter around mixed in with your plastic Santas and elves. People get very freaked out when you mess with Christmas. I love it as much as the next person, but that doesn’t mean I have no sense of humor. Try sticking these severed fingers on your Christmas tree, so it looks like someone is clawing their way out. How about putting them in the hay in your nativity scene on the front lawn. Better yet! Stick them in the turkey before you bring it to the table. Maybe not…might be a little too freaky for some of the older folks. Point is…have some fun. You’d be amazed at what you could come up with to do with these fingers.

I’ve always wanted black crystal wine glasses. The ones I usually find are quite boring with black stems or just plain glass with no ornament. I finally came across these great Black Diamond wine glasses. I found them at this really cheesy website called ABC Distributing, but they are really cool and better than anything I’ve seen. Trust me I’ve been looking for a long time.  They are really cheap at $10.95 for 4! Of course they are not crystal and actually just made of glass, but hey for that price who cares? Can’t you just picture me offering one of these glasses filled with blood to a new subject a la David in The Lost Boys?

Somebody pointed me to this fun site called Pylones. They have all kinds of cool little funky gadgets that really tickle my funny bone. Of course there are just a few items that tickled my scary bone too! I especially love love love this sugar pot. I make coffee every night after dinner. I know, strangely I don’t drink coffee for breakfast. I just really look forward to it after dinner. Anyway I only use sugar and I have a little plastic container with sugar in it on the counter next to the coffee machine. It’s an ugly little thing and I would love to buy this scary little guy and have him there instead. Since my kitchen is black and white he’d fit right in. They have a bunch of other skull things as well, so check it out.

Where’s my bloody tea? Now when some Brit in a castle yells that out to a servant they can bring them their Bloody Tea set. Seriously. Wouldn’t that be cool for a servant to bring to some mean boss. Actually, if the servant was really upset with him they could bring a plain white tea set and a sharp knife and make their own. Since this does cost $500 that might be the cheaper choice. How many servants can afford to drop that much money on something to scare their boss with. Of course then you have to hide the evidence and make sure no other servants saw you. Then there is the matter of the police and of course they will eventually figure out that it was you, because everyone knows the butler did it. Best just to forget it. In the end it was just fun to think about, but not worth the jail time. Maybe just stick with putting hot sauce in his tea or something.
